PLANNING Your Retirement Income

Your Dynamic Retirement Income Plan

Retirement Income Planning Questions

There are three basic retirement income planning questions that you need to answer:

  1. When do you want to retire?
  2. What income do you need to have?
  3. What risks are you willing to accept?

The answers to these three questions will go a long way in determining the types of initial and ongoing services that we will recommend to you. It has been our experience that your answers to these questions are likely to change over time.

Dynamic Plan

Retirement income planning, unlike other types of financial planning, is by its nature constantly changing. At Retirement Income Center, we have the experience, expertise, and systems in place to respond to changes in your financial situation as they occur.

Unlike many financial planning firms where an initial plan is prepared and ongoing planning rarely occurs, we have systems in place that enable us to work with our clients to monitor and update their plans on the fly. The primary system we rely upon is our Retirement Income System. It's a 360o system that features client access to real-time financial information from anywhere in the world. To learn more about this second-to-none system, please see the Retirement Income System section.

Comprehensive Plan

We don't do planning in a vacuum. While our focus in on retirement income planning, we understand that you have other financial planning needs, including, but not limited to the following:

  • Income tax planning
  • Investment planning
  • Education planning
  • Charitable planning
  • Estate planning

Rest assured that we have the experience and expertise to work together with you in each of the above areas as part of an initial comprehensive retirement income plan or as the need arises. We are team players who work with your other professional advisors as appropriate. When necessary, we can make referrals to highly qualified professionals specific to your particular needs.

Income Planning Compensation

In connection with our commitment to our clients to always put their interests first, we have a transparent, full disclosure philosophy at Retirement Income Center. This applies to all aspects of our relationship with our clients, including compensation.

Retirement Income Center charges an initial income planning fee. The amount of the fee is determined based on the nature of the services to be provided and the complexity of each client's circumstances. In addition, Retirement Income Center reserves the right to charge annual or per-project planning fees when appropriate. All fees are agreed upon prior to entering into an engagement with any client.
